Juneteenth celebration

Marion's Juneteenth celebration returns Friday evening with music, food vendors, and family activities downtown. The program starts at 5pm and runs into the evening. This year's celebration features a gospel choir performance, a local history exhibit, kids' games, and a lineup of food vendors. Local organizations will have informational booths throughout the grounds. The event is free and open to everyone. Organizers are still looking for volunteers for setup and cleanup shifts — sign up at the event page.
