OurWeek is a weekly newsletter for small towns. We try to collect as little as possible and keep what we have private to your town's publisher and our service providers.
What we collect
- Subscribers: email address; optionally phone (if you opt in to SMS) and name.
- Submitters: email, name, and the contents of what you submit.
- Sponsors: billing email and what Stripe needs to charge your card.
- Logs: we keep an audit log of actions on your town for the publisher's review (e.g. "email sent", "post approved").
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your email or phone number with anyone.
- We don't use trackers, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising scripts.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database/auth), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (drafting assistance for the publisher). They each process the minimum data needed to do their job.
Removing your data
To unsubscribe from the email, use the link at the bottom of any email or visit our unsubscribe page. To have your data removed entirely, email hello@ourweek.in and we'll do it within 7 days.
