Marion Health Stuffed Animal Clinic

Marion Health invites children age 12 and younger to bring their favorite stuffed animal in for a free "check-up" at our Family Medicine Residency Clinic, located at 1411 W. Bella Dr., on Saturday, September 19, between 10 a.m. and noon. Kids will register their stuffed animal at the clinic and receive a wrist band. Children and their families will then move through different stations to fill out their stuffed animal's medical history, receive a "check-up," get an "x-ray," have "surgery," and then move on to wellness stations. They will be given a passport to help them navigate to each station. Children will also learn healthy habits for life, including guidelines on physical activity, nutrition, and the importance of being smoke-free. Other stations will allow kids to create a bracelet for their stuffed animal, color a picture frame, and take a picture with their stuffed animal. Balloons and other goodies will also be handed out at the event.
