Every meeting we have indexed across Grant County's public bodies, in one place, narrowed by who was sitting and by what they were discussing. Each entry opens the recording at the second it happened. Timestamps were located in automatic captions, which garble names and numbers badly, so the recording is the record and this page is a way in.
Loaded transcripts for four more meetings: the commissioners on October 20 and June 1, and the drainage board on July 14 and July 28. Every meeting in the index with a transcript available is now searchable.
How we got here — the county's own documents, recordings and land records, from a closed factory in 2022 to a $2 billion sheet circulating in Marion this summer.
Added the mayor's Chronicle-Tribune interviews (published Aug. 27): he named Meta as the company to answer for the project, said no deal has been presented to the city council, and said he will not pursue or support data center development in Marion under his administration. His NDA answer now covers city staff and, by his own statement, not the county.
Grant County has released a 30-page internal investigation report about Commissioner Chuck Poling and referred it to state and federal authorities. The title is what the county clerk told the investigator she said to him in her office on July 1, 2025, after he said, in her account, that he owned the buildings: "Chuck, you do not own the buildings, the people own buildings, you are merely the caretaker of the buildings." The count goes from 39 to 45. Six cameras went onto the map on August 16, 2026, added by OurWeek after we found them — five inside Matter Park, aimed at the playground, the gardens, a picnic pavilion, the pickleball courts and a disc golf hole rather than at a road, and one on North Washington Street. They are listed at the end of the camera table, located by the park or street they stand in, and none has been photographed for the table yet. The detection arithmetic, the map, the share card and every count on this page move with them. What each park camera faces is the subject of a separate report.
