The City of Mar­i­on invites you to join us down­town on Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 11 th , 2026 for a spe­cial cel­e­bra­tion and mile­stone remembrance. A memo­r­i­al ser­vice will be held begin­ning at 8 : 30 am as we reflect on the 25 th anniver­sary of 9 ⁄ 11 , and a cel­e­bra­tion will fol­low hon­or­ing Mar­i­on Fire Depart­men­t’s 150 years of ser­vice to the com­mu­ni­ty as well as the new down
